Welcome to the IWIRC Michigan Network

In August of 1996, MIWIRC became the 7th IWIRC Network, founded by Debra Kuptz and Sheryl Toby. The Network held luncheons with speakers on a range of topics from bankruptcy law to networking to professional development.

In 1997, MIWIRC’s advisory board expanded. Deb Kuptz served as the chair and Sheryl Toby and Susan Gordon as the vice chairs. The Network began to have more regular meetings, with increased attendance and increased name recognition.

Almost 15 years after its founding, MIWIRC is going stronger than ever. With frequent programs ranging from our annual holiday shop-for-charity to our signature Martinis, Manicures and More event, and plenty of educational and professional development programs in between, MIWIRC has become a destination of choice for Michigan’s women insolvency professionals.
