Welcome to the IWIRC Washington DC Network

The members of the Washington DC network are excited to kick off their inaugural year! Susan Budd of Alix Partners, the network's founder and chair, noted at the network's first meeting that although there are IWIRC networks in nearby Baltimore and Virginia, a Washington DC network was important to address the unique aspects of the District's vibrant restructuring market. The Washington DC network, which already boasts more than 20 active members, held its first networking event on January 12th: a wine tasting at Cork Wine Bar in Northwest Washington DC.

We are looking forward to networking and socializing with other IWIRC members when they arrive in our area for the 29th Annual ABI Spring Meeting! In addition to attending the Women's Reception and Program sponsored by IWIRC, which will be attended by the current ABI president and IWIRC member Melissa Kibler Knoll, the DC network is hosting a "pay as you go" dinner at Sauciety for any members who would enjoy spending more time getting to know fellow restructuring professionals and exploring the National Harbor.
