Professional Bio:

Siobhan is an Senior Counsel in Walkers' Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group and is based in the Cayman Islands office.  Siobhan has experience in cross-border contentious and non-contentious restructuring of Cayman Islands companies and partnerships.  She regularly advises stakeholders, creditors, debtors, private equity and hedge funds, insolvency practitioners (including Court-appointed liquidators) and other professional advisors in relation to complex insolvency and financial distressed situations.  Siobhan's practice is focused on restructurings implemented by way of Cayman Islands schemes of arrangement and/or Cayman Islands provisional liquidation or restructuring officer regime.  She has been involved in a number of recent high profile restructurings in the offshore market, including: LATAM Airlines (which won ABI's International Matter of the Year Award in 2022), MIE Holdings Corporation, Hilong Holding Limited, McDermott International (which won Restructuring Deal of the Year at the 2021 IFLR America Awards) and Global Indemnity Group.

Prior to joining Walkers, Siobhan worked in the Finance department at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and the Corporate (M&A and Restructuring) department at Baker & McKenzie in London.
