South African Counseling Psychologist Leah Gous will offer methods for women to be authentically assertive in ways that others will hear and understand. Assertiveness is a social and communication skill that can be learned and practiced and is associated with self-confidence and effective communication. Assertiveness is expressing your needs in a way that shows respect for yourself and others.
