2013 April 3, Spring Dinner with Mitsue Aizawa

On 3 April 2013, the Japan Network organised its third event since its launch in May 2012 - a dinner with Mitsue Aizawa, the deputy managing partner of the Tokyo office of Bingham McCutchen. Mitsue is also the recipient of the IWIRC "Woman Of The Year" Award. Drawing upon experiences in her more than thirty years as lawyer, Mitsue challenged attendees to focus on strategic thinking. “In Japan and around the world, women often act as highly competent implementers” said Mitsue, “transaction leadership has a foundation in competence, but must include business analysis and formulation of strategy”. Throughout her career, Mitsue has earned a reputation as one of Japan’s leading insolvency lawyers and strategists. Twenty-four attendees participated in the event. The event was kindly sponsored by Bingham McCutchen.
