Mr Justice Snowden - Richard specialised in company law, corporate insolvency and financial services litigation whilst at the Bar, and was a member of the Insolvency Rules Committee between 2002 and 2012. He was appointed as a High Court Judge in 2015 and has given judgments in a large number of insolvency and restructuring cases since. In September 2019 he was appointed as the Supervising Judge for the Business and Property Courts in the North of England. He is an editor of Lightman and Moss on the Law of Administrators and Receivers of Companies and regularly lectures and participates in conferences in the UK and abroad. In September 2020, he presided over the sanctioning of the Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd Scheme of Arrangement, the first Part 26A Restructuring Plan.
