Background & Experience:
Kate Sender represents bankruptcy trustees, debtors, and creditors in bankruptcy litigation and state court disputes. Kate has represented Chapter 7 and 11 trustees in federal and state court litigation related to Ponzi schemes, asset sales, market and sale of ongoing businesses, and prosecuting avoidance actions under sections 544, 547, 548, and 549 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Prior to joining the firm, Kate was an associate with the Denver-based bankruptcy firms of Sender Wasserman Wadsworth, PC and Lindquist & Vennum, LLP. Kate also interned with the Gonzaga University's Federal Tax Clinic, and the Judicial Clerkship with Hon. Judge Elizabeth Brown, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Denver, Colorado.
