Professional Bio:

Katharina is counsel specialising in restructuring and insolvency. She has acted for lenders, borrowers, administrators, receivers and other key parties in the restructuring and insolvency market. During her time at Freshfields, Katharina was seconded to both the Cologne office of Freshfields and Liberty, the human rights organisation. Prior to becoming a knowledge lawyer, Katharina was a trainee and associate at Freshfields. Katharina sits on the technical committee of the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association and is a member of the Lexis PSL R&I Focus Group. Katharina has been part of the founding members of the IWIRC London Network, is a past co-chair of the communications committee and currently a member of the nominations committee.
