Raye Curry Elliott is Of Counsel in the Bankruptcy & Reorganization Practice Group of Akerman LLP. Raye's practice focuses on complex business litigation, including bankruptcy and creditors' rights, mortgage foreclosures, and defaulted loan matters. She has extensive experience in a wide range of bankruptcy and insolvency matters, including loan workouts, short sales, securities fraud, and state and local tax litigation. Raye regularly represents lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, banks and financial institutions, and purchasers of troubled companies and their assets, both in and out of bankruptcy court. Prior to joining Akerman, Raye was counsel to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation where she handled all types of defensive litigation and defaulted loan matters.
