Professional Bio:

Corinne Donohue Adams is an attorney at Yumkas, Vidmar, Sweeney & Mulrenin, LLC in Maryland where her practice focuses on bankruptcy, creditor rights, and litigation. She represents corporate and individual debtors in Chapter 11 cases, secured and unsecured creditors, and Chapter 7 trustees in all aspects of their cases, including litigation, deal-making, and dispute resolution. Ms. Adams has been selected as a Maryland Super Lawyers® Rising Star in the area of Bankruptcy: Business for 2016, 2017, and 2018. Ms. Adams currently serves on the boards of an American Inn of Court and the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation networks of Maryland and D.C. Ms. Adams is admitted to practice in New York, the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Prior to joining her firm, Ms. Adams served as the term law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Grossman in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. During her clerkship, Ms. Adams handled matters in cases under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Ms. Adams received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served on the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. At St. John’s, Ms. Adams also completed courses through the LL.M. in Bankruptcy program and worked in a debtor-creditor litigation clinic. She received a B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Lafayette College.
