Professional Bio:
Sara M. Keith was born and raised in California. A few years after graduating from Biola University in California, in 2002 she moved to Texas to attend Baylor University for her Master of Arts. After attending Baylor, she attended South Texas College of Law – Houston. Sara is admitted to practice law in Texas and numerous U.S. Courts. After graduating law school, she worked at several large and small law firms practicing bankruptcy and litigation. She joined Shell USA, Inc. in December 2018 where she advises executive leadership and key stakeholders on insolvency matters, litigation, commercial credit negotiations, risk management, and compliance.
Sara is the Houston Bar Foundation Chair and Fellow, IWIRC Houston President, Shell Women Adding Value Everywhere (WAVE) Woodcreek Chapter Vice President and Texas Bar Foundation Fellow. She is also the 2025 Shell US Legal Pro Bono & Community Service Program Veterans Clinic Co-Lead and serves on numerous planning committees for several Texas legal conferences. She is the immediate Past Chair of the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Law Section, former Houston Bar Association Gender Fairness Committee Co-Chair and served on the Shell Legal US GTKY DE&I & Pro-Bono Committees for over 4 years in various roles.
She resides in the Clear Lake area of Houston, Texas. She is married, has two active daughters, and enjoys reading fiction and traveling.
