Professional Bio:
Danielle is the U.S. Bankruptcy Administrator for the Middle District of Alabama. Prior to being sworn in as the BA, Danielle practiced at Troutman Sanders LLP in the Financial Services Litigation section. While at Troutman, Danielle served as the Treasurer of the Carolinas Network.
Prior to joining Troutman Sanders, Danielle served as an Attorney Advisor at the Administrative Office of US Courts where she provided support to the Bankruptcy Administrator Program.
She previously clerked for the Honorable Thomas B. Bennett, the Honorable Tamara O. Mitchell and the Honorable James J. Robinson, all bankruptcy judges in the Northern District of Alabama.
While working in Alabama, Danielle served first as the Vice Chair of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation Alabama Network, during its inception, and then as the Secretary to the Alabama Network. She also spent three years serving as an associate editor for the ABI Journal.
Prior to joining the Judiciary, Danielle worked in private practice at Moore & Van Allen PLLC in Charlotte, NC and then for Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in Birmingham, AL. While in private practice, her work focused primarily on corporate workouts and bankruptcies and in structuring intercreditor arrangements. She has experience representing large corporate debtors as well as creditors within the bankruptcy context.
Danielle graduated law school from the University of Texas School of Law with honors and has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from NC State University.
