Jennifer B. Kimble is an attorney with Haskell Slaughter Young & Rediker, LLC in Birmingham, Alabama in the bankruptcy and creditor's rights practice group. She regularly represents creditors, debtors, DIP lenders, chapter 7 trustees, unsecured creditors committees and other parties in bankruptcy and civil litigation matters, workouts and out-of-court restructurings. She has also represents liquidating trustees and creditors in preference and fraudulent transfer actions and financial institutions in litigation with borrowers and loan participants. Ms. Kimble's practice has also included the representation of automobile manufacturers and sole-source suppliers in bankruptcy and litigation-related matters.
Before joining Haskell Slaughter, she practiced with a large Birmingham-based firm and with the Legal Department of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC. Ms. Kimble is a member of the Alabama and Mississippi State Bars and sits on the Executive Board of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Birmingham Bar Association. She is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association and is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Alabama Network of IWIRC. She received her B.A. in history summa cum laude from Mississippi State University and her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi, where she served on the Moot Court Board and was Associate Articles Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal.
