Eva Smoluch is a Strategic Accounts Manager for Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers responsible for managing relationships with banks, equipment finance companies, restructuring firms and insolvency trustees.

Eva is a tenured credit and risk professional with over 20 years of experience across many industries from consumer goods to wireless communication, banking and equipment finance companies.

Eva’s passion for heavy equipment financing was ignited during her almost 10-year tenure as Financial Services Manager for Canada at XTRA Lease, trailer and container leasing company.

Following her tenure at XTRA Eva joined Strongco Corporation, a multi-line construction equipment dealer representing multiple manufacturers including Volvo, Case, Grove etc.

In her capacity as a National Credit Risk Manager Eva managed the entire Canadian portfolio of customers.

Eva’s passion for the customer, collaborative management style and her view of sound credit risk policies as a tool to increase sales is what drives great performance form her and her teams.

Following her tenure at Strongco Eva was recruited by Rogers Communications and then Moneris Payment solutions with a mandate to streamline credit policies and shorten credit approval times. Her collaborative approach to working with sales and other functional teams resulted in decreased onboarding at both.

However, Eva’s passion for heavy equipment and construction industry in particular, was always present and when an opportunity at Ritchie Bros. was presented to her she did not hesitate and had joined the company in 2015.
