Professional Bio:

Alecia Johns is Counsel in the Litigation and Restructuring department of Conyers Dill & Pearman LLP. 

Alecia's practice areas include commercial litigation, contentious and non-contentious insolvency, civil fraud, asset tracing and recovery. She has acted on a number of seminal insolvency matters in the Cayman Islands involving 

inter alia, advice to officeholders appointed over investment funds, cryptocurrency exchanges, and various other structures in a liquidation or restructuring process. 

Alecia also frequently advises and represents creditors and other stakeholders in liquidation proceedings in the Cayman Islands.

Prior to joining Conyers in the Cayman Islands, Alecia worked in the BVI for six years (also at Conyers) where she acted in a number of significant shareholder disputes and insolvency related matters.
