Professional Bio:
I am an assistant professor of law at the University of Toledo College of Law focused on commercial law and bankruptcy teaching and research. My academic role is a natural outgrowth of my experience as a commercial litigation and bankruptcy attorney with an extensive global business and banking background.
My interdisciplinary perspective spans restructuring and turnaround, distressed corporate situations, asset purchase and sale transactions, mergers, joint ventures, commercial banking, business development, marketing, software (SaaS), global supply chain and logistics, advanced project management, budgeting, planning, and product development and strategy. I also serve on nonprofit boards and counsel executive directors of nonprofit organizations.
I offer more than 30 years of professional experience includes: commercial banking, startups, bankruptcy chapter 7, 11, and 15 proceedings; cross-border asset recovery and insolvency; commercial litigation; and most aspects of corporate reorganization and turnaround.
