IWIRC Chicago's Spring 2014 Educational Event

On June 5th, the Chicago Chapter of IWIRC hosted its first educational event focused on restructuring in the healthcare sector.   Following an opening reception, Sienna Singer, then a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, facilitated an informal Q&A session with Christine L. Malcom, Managing Director of Navigant Consulting and an expert in healthcare management.  The two focused on issues pertaining to the Affordable Healthcare Act and its impact on healthcare consumers and providers.  Attendees were entertained and informed by the informal, conversational discussion.  Thereafter, a panel featuring Dawn Gideon of Huron Consulting Group, Suzanne Koenig of SAK Management Services, Felicia Perlman of Skadden Arps, and Nancy Peterman of Greenberg Traurig discussed hot topics in healthcare restructuring and opportunities for restructuring professionals in the healthcare sector.
