Professional Bio:

Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with High Honors in painting and printmaking from the University of Texas in 1998.  She earned her Masters in Education from Louisiana State University in 2003.  Katie then graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, earning her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees in 2007, was Order of the Coif, and served as Articles Editor of Louisiana Law Review.  Katie was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2007.

Katie began working as an associate at Vinson & Elkins, LLP in 2008 after serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable W. Eugene Davis of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Her principal area of practice is restructuring and reorganization.
