Join other members (Guests and friends welcome) for a guided tour by artist Radha Chandrasaekharan of the Pendleton Art Center for "FInal Friday". End the evening with dinner (optional) at another Cincinnati icon- Arnold's.
The Pendleton Art Center is touted as the world's largest collection of artists under one roof. Housed in the Krohn-Fecheimer Shoe Company built in 1909, its owner, The Verdin Company, the world's oldest and largest bell and clock manufacturer, opened the building in 1991 close to their world headquarters to promote and showcase local artisans. With eight floors of studios featuring original pine floors, eight foot arched windows and over 200 artists, the Center is a treasure trove of talent. Bring your checkbook!
Meet at Studio 508 at 5.30 pm for a preview by Radha and a glass of wine, followed by a 45 min tour. Continue to browse the Center after the tour or join your fellow members for dinner at Arnold's.
$10 payable to IWIRC Cincinnati/$15 at the door. (no-shows will be billed)
Dinner on your own.
