Anjali Jain , Partner, heading the Insolvency & Restructuring Practice at Areness. She has spearheaded several complex litigations, a highly experienced Practicing Advocate and has expertise in Commercial and Corporate Litigation, as well as General Corporate and Business Advisory. She has handled Insolvency, Banking and Liquidation Matters of cumulatively over INR 1000 Crores, guided over 100 debt recovery assignments and assisted in resolution of over INR 500 Crores of financial debts.  

With a strong academic background(alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College, National Law University, Delhi and Delhi University) and a track record of successful outcomes, Anjali Jain is renowned for her exceptional legal acumen, strategic thinking, and commitment rising out of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Possessing a robust knowledge of statutory interpretation and being an ardent researcher, she is an active participant in development of the law on Insolvency, Banking and Corporate Affairs. she is one of the youngest faces at several national and international forums and discussions on the law such as Assocham, IICA etc. and has been awarded by Legal Era under 40 under 40 category in 2021.  She is also a columnist and a resource person for Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code for many renowned platforms like Financial Express, CNBC TV18, Economic Times, First Post, India today, etc. Ms. Jain, on behalf of Areness has been the forerunner of various workshops/sessions for conducting knowledge capsules for legal officials of numerous PSBs, including SBI, the leading bank setting in the jurisprudence of insolvency landscape in the country.
