Professional Bio:

April is a Senior Director within Alvarez & Marsal's Restructuring practice.  She has fourteen years of restructuring experience working alongside companies and advisors.  Her role with the restructuring team involves developing and maintaining important documentation such as policies and procedures manuals, standard letterpacks and reports, checklists, diaries and guidance notes.  She is the practice's primary contact for external regulators.

April is responsible for co-ordinating the practice's annual review, dealing with all matters arising both during and after the review.  She is also responsible for developing and implementing an annual training programme for the restructuring team.

April is also the Risk Management Panel Secretary and is involved in risk discussions and decisions relating to engagements within the restructuring team.

April brings a range of experience in assessing and developing options, managing the interaction between management and key stakeholders and driving forward difficult restructurings.  She has worked across a broad range of sectors in both fomral and advisory capacities.

April earned a bachelor's degree in economics from York University.  She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland, a member of R3 and qualified to act as an Insolvency Practitioner.
