Professional Bio:

Sandy is an investment professional at BSQ Capital focusing on opportunistic credit and special situations.

As a lawyer, her experience includes advising corporates, banks and credit funds on a range of cross-border senior secured, mezzanine and leveraged financings as well as public and private acquisitions. Sandy completed her secondment with Goldman Sachs Asian Special Situations Group in 2019 and with KKR Private Equity in 2020. She also completed a secondment in the Debt Capital Markets team at HSBC and advised the Hong Kong liquidators of Lehman Brothers and MF Global at the beginning of her career. Her debt experience spans from APLMA loan facilities to high yield bonds to derivatives and securitisations. She advised China Evergrande Group and Shimao on their refinancings and debt restructuring. Sandy is qualified in England and Wales and New York.

Sandy serves as a Director of the IWIRC 2025 Board, an INSOL Future Leader for Singapore and a member of the APLMA Women in the Loan Market Asia Committee and SVCA Social Committee. She also serves on the board of the Harvard Club of Singapore and Australian Alumni Singapore. Sandy is an Accredited Director (SID-AD) of the Singapore Institute of Directors (MSID) since 2024.
