Professional Bio:

Holly is a dual qualified UK and Hong Kong solicitor and has been in the insolvency and restructuring industry globally for over 16 years.  

Currently articling on the insolvency team at DLA Piper Vancouver, Holly is scheduled to be called to the British Columbia bar in 2025.  

Holly was previously based in Singapore and headed the Singapore/Southeast Asian business of Madison Pacific Group, a niche corporate trust and agency business, from 2014 to 2022. 

Holly has led a wide variety of transactions involving investment funds, banks, institutional trustees and individuals, in distressed and workout situations. In her capacity as corporate trustee, agent and director of investment vehicles, she has been instrumental in implementing and executing on pioneering innovative investment structures to facilitate complex cross-border restructurings.  With her prior litigation experience, Holly headed enforcement proceedings and led inter-creditor and borrower negotiations to maximize recovery value. She also facilitated successful restructurings in complex distressed and workout scenarios.

Holly was named as one of 20 rising stars under the age of 40 worldwide in 2016 by Global Restructuring Review and one of 35 prominent female insolvency practitioners in 2017. She has been consistently recognized as an expert advisor in Who’s Who Legal: Restructuring and Insolvency.

Holly is a current member of the IWIRC Western Canada network and former Co-Chair and board member of IWIRC Singapore.  Holly frequently spoke on industry panels and conferences in Singapore and the region.
