Professional Bio:

I am a senior legal counsel with over 18 years of experience in corporate restructuring, insolvency proceedings, and regulatory compliance, and a licensed auctioneer (Martillera Pública) since 2009. I have advised both national and international clients in more than 50 corporate insolvency cases, including preventive and ordinary proceedings before the Peruvian insolvency authority (INDECOPI), as well as out-of-court and corporate (societary) liquidations.

My restructuring experience includes high-profile cases such as the reorganization of ICCGSA, Ecoexpress Javier Prado, and the preventive and ordinary proceedings of INCOT, where I represented the debtor throughout all procedural stages. I also led the legal strategy in the liquidation by agreement of Técnicas Metálicas Ingenieros (TMI).

In the field of corporate liquidations, I have advised on societary dissolutions and windings-up for companies such as Cogorno and AGP Perú (a Tesla supplier). I have also participated in major concursal liquidations, including those of Ecoexpress Javier Prado, Manufacturera de Papeles y Cartones del Perú (MPC), and Tableros Peruanos S.A. (TAPESA), all part of the Gloria Group, as well as Avianca Perú, Elektra, and PPN.

My areas of expertise include creditor representation, debt refinancing, labor restructuring, compliance with insolvency and corporate regulations, and the implementation of anti-money laundering (AML) systems.

I hold a Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a Master’s degree in Notarial and Registry Law from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMP), and a PhD in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM).
