Professional Bio:

Tenure Track Researcher in the eCampus University, where I am professor of "Business Law" and "Digital Business Law", and chartered accountant and business advisor in company, accounting and insolvency issues at national and european level.

I am also NextGen member of the International Insolvency Institute, where I am actively involved in the Project Committee and in the NextGen Executive Committee.

I have developed my research activities in several Universities: Ca' Foscari University of Venice (2012-2023), Humbolt Universität zu Berlin (2015), University of Florence (2016-2017), University of Genoa (2023-2024), and eCampus University (2024-present).

I have several publications in company, accounting and insolvency law. Among them a book on the debt restructuring agreements pursuant to the Italian Bankruptcy law, journal articles on MSMEs in distress, insolvency reforms in Italy, early detection of financial distress, subordinated claims, bankruptcy exemption in the Italian legislative framework, restructuring tools.

My current reasearch topics in insolvency law are the impact of insolvency's stigma in the rescue culture, the upcoming EU directive Insolvency III, and the financial distress od public authorities.
