Professional Bio:

Ms. Valencia has participated in numerous debt restructuring operations (both judicial and out-of-court), temporary receivership, bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring agreements, as well as incidental proceedings derived from such procedures. In some cases, she has advised the debtor, and in other cases, the creditor.

She lectures on bankruptcy law in the Masters in Construction and Real Estate Business Management (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura – Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), in the Masters in Business Insolvency (Universidad CEU San Pablo), and also in the Insolvency Administration Program (Fundación para la Investigación sobre el Derecho y la Empresa - FIDE), in addition to speaking regularly at conferences, courses and seminars on this topic. She also collaborates frequently as an expert in the Open Forum of the Boletín de Mercantil, published by El Derecho.
