Professional Bio:

Christel assists a domestic and international clientele across a number of key areas including R&I matters. Christel provides advices in respect of exits, liquidations and restructuring matters. She is involved in several group reorganizations (insolvency proceedings).

She regularly applies the EU regulation on cross border insolvency cases. She has broad experience in assisting groups facing financial difficulties and has been involved in major restructurings for a number of international groups.

Christel graduated from the University of Lyon III (France) in 1991, and in 1992, achieved her DESS “Droit des affaires internationales“ at the University of Burgundy (France). In 1994, she completed the “Cours complémentaires en Droit luxembourgeois“.

Christel regularly provides presentations on specific aspects of Luxembourg law in various jurisdictions globally. She also contributes regular articles to a number of international publications such as ‘The Restructuring Review’ and to ‘Eurofenix’, the journal of INSOL Europe.

Christel has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1994. She is also member of INSOL Europe. Christel is Fellow of INSOL International (Class 2015-2016) and Luxembourg country coordinator of INSOL Europe. A French national, she speaks English and French.
