Professional Bio:

Joanna Gasowski has over 16 years' experience focusing on bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, including litigation as well as on distresses asset transactions. She regularly represents debtors, funds, Polish and international investors involved in bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings, foreclosures, distressed assets purchase transactions, as well as loan and claims trading. Joanna also represents creditors and Polish debtors in numerous financial transactions comprising issuance of bonds, granting syndicate loans and other loans and financing of acquisition of companies. In her litigation practice, she concentrates on challenging transactions to the detriment of creditors, insurance, infrastructure and commercial disputes. She has been recognized as a "Rising Star” in IFLR1000's rankings. Joanna graduated from the University of Warsaw and Fordham University School of Law. She is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland and New York. Joanna also holds a restructuring advisor license in Poland and is a member of the INSOL Europe.
