Professional Bio:

Shayna, an Emory University graduate (B.A./J.D./M.B.A.), is Board Certified by the American Board of Certification in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law, handles matters for both Debtors and Creditors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13. She is a past President of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers; a past-Chair of the Sole Practitioner/Small Firm Section of the Atlanta Bar Association (earning “Section of the Year” at the conclusion of her year as chair); and a past-chair of both the Bankruptcy Section of the Georgia State Bar and the Atlanta Bar Association (also earning “Section of the Year” at the conclusion of her year as Chair of the State Bar Bankruptcy Section). She is a “founding Mom” of the Georgia IWIRC Network. She has been honored for her leadership locally, speaks nationally and has co-authored and published The Family Lawyer’s Guide to Bankruptcy.
