Professional Bio:

Neil is one of the best known bankruptcy trustees and receivers in the country. He has spoken on over 180 seminar panels throughout the country and published over 75 scholarly articles in the bankruptcy law field. For the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees (NABT) he has held every office including President (2011-2012),chaired its Amicus Committee for 8 years, was a Board Member for 14 years, and an Executive Board Member and member of the Liaison Committee with the EOUST for 8 years. He continues to present the Case Law Update and other seminar topics at the NABT's twice annual conferences held nationally and authors the "Recent Cases" article in its quarterly journal. He has also chaired the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association (1992-1993), the Legislation Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) (2012-2015), and is a Lifetime Member of the ABI, a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy (ACB), and a Master of the W. Homer Drake Bankruptcy Inns of Court. Neil has spoken many times to the NCBJ, NABT, ABI, ACB, NACTT, Law Education Institute, and local, state and regional conferences. Neil represents trustees and receivers nationwide. He just completed a $40 million settlement for a Connecticut trustee of litigation pending in Delaware.
