Welcome to the IWIRC Mexico Network

IWIRC is thrilled to celebrate the milestone of 50 networks across the globe with the launch of our 50th network, the Mexico Network! The Mexico Network was officially approved on September 29, 2021. This network will expand IWIRC’s presence in Latin America by bringing together restructuring and insolvency professionals across Mexico. 

The Co-Chairs of the inaugural board of the Mexico Network are Beatriz Elizabeth Montoya Ramírez, an Associate at Guerra González y Asociados, S.C., and Zulima Gonzalez, of Solorzano, Carvajal, Gonzalez y Pérez Correa, SC.

"Since I have been a member of IWIRC International, I have only had great teachings, union, friendship, support, professionalism, just some of the qualities that IWIRC Mexico promises to strengthen to contribute to the world of local and international financial restructuring. I am very excited to be part of this great project, the 50th IWIRC Network,” shared Beatriz Montoya.

Zulima Gonzalez states: “After having the amazing opportunity of being part of IWIRC America Latina we are excited to launch IWIRC Mexico and grateful for the support the IWIRC Board has given us. We are hopeful that IWIRC Mexico will empower women in the restructuring and bankruptcy areas in our country, allowing them to get the attention and voice they deserve to keep improving the insolvency regime.”

Patricia Cervantes, one of the founding IWIRC Mexico members commented: "The creation of the new IWIRC network in Mexico reflects the incredible work that IWIRC International has done in its efforts to create communities of women professionals who share their passion for restructuring. In addition, I am confident that IWIRC Mexico will strengthen the ties between colleagues in the region and, at the same time, will promote the insolvency culture in the country.”
