Brian W. Upon his completion of his judicial law clerkship with Judge Stripp, Mr. Hofmeister joined the firm of Hanoch Weisman as an associate in the firm's Litigation Department and had been practicing primarily in the area of creditor's rights and bankruptcy. Mr. Hofmeister was involved with all phases of counseling for and litigating on behalf of creditors with respect to troubled loans and credit relationships. His experience in the practice of creditor's rights enabled him to develop and carry out sophisticated litigation plans designed to maximize a creditor's recovery.
From 1994 through 1999, Mr. Hofmeister was an associate with the firm of Markowitz & Zindler where he concentrated his practice in the areas of debtor/creditor rights, bankruptcy, commercial litigation and representing Chapter 7 & 11 trustees, debtors, landlords, creditors' committees, lenders and receivers as well as representing clients in general litigation and transactional work.

The Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Reorganization Practice Group has broad experience in all aspects of bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors’ rights matters, including complex litigation cases.
