IWIRC is pleased to announce the launch of the Central Texas Network. IWIRC's newest Network officially launched on June 6, 2023. The Central Texas Network covers Central Texas, including Austin, Waco, El Paso, San Antonio and other markets within the boundaries of the United States District Courts for the Western District of Texas. The name Texas comes from the Spanish spelling of the Caddo word meaning "friend." IWIRC is proud to welcome its 55th Network and looks forward to connecting with our new Texas friends!
The inaugural board of the Network includes Co-Chairs, Katharine Clark of Thompson Coburn LLP and Kimberly Nash of the Law Office of Kimberly Nash P.C., who extolled the benefits of their new Network. “We’re so pleased to bring practitioners in Central Texas together. This is the perfect year for the launch of our Network! We have several state-wide and national bankruptcy conferences in Central Texas this year. We plan to host events at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Annual Meeting and the UT Westbrook Conference. We’re excited to also host more intimate and virtual events for our local members including regular meetings, lunches with inspiring speakers, and cocktail hour meet ups.”
